I know we don’t all celebrate the same holidays, but there is something infectious about this time of year, besides our germ-laden preschoolers. Perhaps excepting the malls, people everywhere are just a bit extra smiley. Strangers bidding one another “Happy Holidays” or even the un-PC, but I think totally benign, “Merry Christmas” seems to fill the air with cheer. Yes, I really do hope the man bagging my groceries has a merry Christmas. He totally deserves it!

Anyway, in the spirit of this love-fest, I wanted to share a story that embodies what I’m talking about. People getting all gooey and kind to each other. Enjoy!
